Jayda Garcia, a junior from Celina, has committed to play college softball for West Texas A&M. Her high school performance this season included a .597 batting average, marking a significant increase from her .444 average during her sophomore year.

Garcia recorded 37 total hits throughout the season. Her extra-base hits included three doubles and six triples. She also demonstrated increased power at the plate, hitting five home runs.

Her offensive production extended beyond batting average. Garcia drove in 21 runs and crossed the plate 56 times. She was also active on the basepaths, stealing 38 bases.
