Universal has officially launched the Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, marking the company's third U.S. destination. The property includes a 300-room hotel and an amusement park designed specifically for families with young children, primarily those between the ages of 3 and 8.
The theme park features lands based on popular franchises, including Shrek's Swamp, Jurassic World, and Minions-themed areas like Bello Bay Club. Attractions focus on splash pads, playgrounds, and two family roller coasters, with one being Jurassic Park-themed. The resort does not offer special park entry for hotel guests, though the main entrance is located just steps from the hotel exit.
The adjacent hotel offers rooms with bunk beds and theme park views, with standard queen rooms priced around $350 per night. On-site dining is available at the Curiosity Café, which serves quick-service meals. The property also includes a large pool with a gradual entry and a maximum depth of 4 feet, along with complimentary life vests for younger swimmers.
