The Baylor Bears football team is facing uncertainty in its offensive line as the new season approaches. With only one full-time starter returning, Kaden Sieracki at right tackle, the team is navigating a series of changes.

The situation became more complex following the departure of Memphis transfer Yakiri Walker, who was expected to start at center but is now a coach after his injunction was denied.

In light of Walker's exit, Koltin Sieracki has emerged as a leading candidate for the center position. Offensive line coach Austin Woods noted that Koltin has been taking significant reps during the summer and is poised to start against Auburn. Woods praised Sieracki's leadership and performance, stating, "he's done a great job of leading and communicating and playing some really high level football right now."

Koltin Sieracki, who stands at 6'4" and weighs 317 pounds, played as Baylor's sixth lineman last season and started three games at right guard and center. Although he was initially expected to play guard this season, he has shifted his focus to center, a position he prefers.

"I actually prefer center," Sieracki said, expressing his comfort with the role and his enjoyment of the physical aspects of the position.

The offensive line's configuration is still evolving, with Texas transfer Nate Kibble and South Alabama transfer Asher Hale reportedly playing alongside Sieracki at guard. UAB transfer Logan Moore has been assigned to left tackle, while Toledo transfer Cole Rhett is being utilized in various positions, indicating he may be competing for a starting role or could take on Sieracki's previous sixth lineman position.

Woods commented on the progress of Rhett and Hale, highlighting their consistent improvement as they gain more experience during fall camp. The final lineup for the offensive line remains to be fully determined as the team prepares for its upcoming matchup against Auburn.
