The Dallas Cowboys completed their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, marking the end of practices that started on July 29. Fans attended the final session, which followed a series of practices, including a memorable trip to Oxnard. The team is set to face the New Orleans Saints in their last preseason game before finalizing their 53-man roster for the upcoming regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb stood out during the final practice, showcasing his skills after limited appearances in previous sessions due to the starters being sidelined. Lamb connected with quarterback Dak Prescott multiple times, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. He also made a remarkable one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
On the other hand, cornerback Cobie Durant faced challenges during the practice, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Despite this, Durant has solidified his position as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout training camp.
Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a strong impression, starting on defense and demonstrating his aggressiveness. He pressured Prescott during a blitz, which would have resulted in a sack in a game situation. Barham's performance has shown consistent improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
