Houston Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time because of a shoulder injury suffered during the team’s 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.

Coach DeMeco Ryans provided the update on Sept. 14. To’oTo’o left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return while the outcome was still undecided.

To’oTo’o recorded two tackles before exiting. He had 95 total tackles during the 2025 season and exceeded 100 tackles in 2024.

The injury adds to concerns in the Texans’ linebacker group. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap commented on X that the news was not unexpected after seeing To’oTo’o wearing a sling. Garret Williams, posting as Houston Stressans, mentioned Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as possible options, although Hansen also sustained an injury during the game.

Additional details about To’oTo’o’s injury were not provided. This report is based on information from heavy.com.
