The Houston Texans have signed defensive end Derek Parish to a contract, as announced on Wednesday. This move comes after Parish was not able to secure a position on the Jacksonville Jaguars' 53-man roster as a seventh-round draft pick in 2023.
At 27 years old, Parish is looking to make a comeback in the NFL. He is expected to participate in the Texans' preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers, filling in for Jadeveon Clowney and Dominique Robinson, who are both dealing with injuries.
Further details regarding the terms of Parish's contract have not yet been disclosed.
