Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that he is hopeful wide receiver Nico Collins will be available for Houston’s Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys.

Collins is recovering from a Grade 1 hamstring strain that has sidelined him for the team’s past two games. He also has not practiced during the last two weeks.

To have a realistic chance to play Sunday, Collins would likely need to return to practice as at least a limited participant sometime from Wednesday through Friday. His status remains unclear beyond Ryans’ expressed hope that he can return.

Houston has opened the season 0-3, and its offense has struggled during Collins’ absence over the past two games. The information was reported by cbssports.com.
