Frisco, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks have selected Jennifer Ridgeway as their chief impact officer, assigning her responsibility for the club’s charity and community-engagement operations.
Ridgeway previously held executive roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, including as chief impact officer. She is set to report to Mavericks President Ethan Casson, Sports Business Journal reported.
According to D Magazine, Ridgeway will be responsible for the Mavericks’ social-responsibility strategy, charitable efforts and engagement with community partners.
The Mavericks’ home arena is in Dallas, about 26 miles south of Frisco, while their community programs reach across North Texas.
