Frisco, Texas — Zaccharie Risacher is headed to the Dallas Mavericks after a July 19 three-team deal involving Atlanta and Oklahoma City.

The Mavericks received the former first overall draft pick and Atlanta’s top-55-protected 2027 second-round selection. In the exchange, Dallas sent Ryan Nembhard to the Hawks and a 2027 Chicago second-round pick to the Thunder.

Risacher entered the league as the No. 1 selection in 2024. Dallas reported that he has compiled 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game over 142 career appearances.

The Mavericks also cited his place on the 2024-25 All-Rookie First Team and his 2025 EuroBasket appearance for France. Hoops Rumors reported that all three teams formally announced the trade.

The Mavericks’ home arena in Dallas is roughly 27 miles south of Frisco, making the team a regular point of interest for North Texas basketball followers.
