The resort at PGA Frisco is adding another place to hold a party. Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa announced Monday that it is building Fields Ranch Pavilion, a two-story event venue in the PGA District that is scheduled to open in late spring 2027.

The building will look out over the Fields Ranch driving range and toward the PGA of America headquarters. It sits next to the district's event lawn and its row of shops, according to the resort's announcement, and the design work was done with The Beck Group.

Two floors, two crowds

The pavilion is planned at a little more than 6,600 square feet split across two levels:

  • Ground floor: 3,241 square feet of indoor space that can seat up to 160 guests for receptions, dinners or meetings.
  • Rooftop: 3,454 square feet for up to 180 guests, with a terrace facing the PGA District and the Fields Ranch practice area, aimed at cocktail hours, ceremonies and networking events.

Food will come from the resort's banquet staff. The announcement lists menus that range from plated dinners to taco stations, sushi displays and late-night pizza, with dishes inspired by the State Fair also on offer.

Adding to an existing campus

Omni already markets more than 127,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space at the resort, along with 500 rooms and suites, 10 Ranch House villas, two championship golf courses, Mokara Spa and 13 places to eat.

"Fields Ranch Pavilion brings that vision to life," said Jeff Smith, vice president and area managing director for the resort, describing PGA Frisco as a place meant for gatherings and celebrations as much as golf.

The announcement did not give a construction cost or a groundbreaking date. Booking inquiries are being taken through the resort's website, which has a landing page for the new venue.
