Frisco, Texas — The Dallas Wings' upward trajectory hit a national milestone Thursday as Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard were unveiled as starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, with Bueckers topping all fan voting league-wide.

Bueckers amassed 1,045,051 fan votes — the most of any WNBA player this season — to secure her second consecutive All-Star start. Shepard, a steady sixth-year forward, earned her first All-Star nod after a first-half stretch that solidified her as one of the league's most improved frontcourt players.

Rookie Azzi Fudd's fourth-place finish among guards in fan voting further underscored how thoroughly the Wings have captured national attention. A year after missing the playoffs, the franchise now boasts the league's most visible young core, with Bueckers and Fudd forming one of basketball's most talked-about backcourts.

The July 25 showcase in Chicago will feature two Wings starters for the first time since the team's move to North Texas. For fans across Collin County and the broader DFW region, the selections validate a season that has shifted from rebuild to resurgence.
