**Frisco, Texas** — Spain will play for the 2026 World Cup title after a 2-0 semifinal victory over France at Dallas Stadium in Arlington on July 14.

Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty in the 22nd minute, and Pedro Porro scored in the 58th. FIFA's match centre records both goals in Spain's shutout win.

The teams finished with 10 attempts apiece. France had three shots on target and Spain had two, according to FIFA's official statistics.

Reuters reported that the result put Spain into Sunday's final against the winner of England versus Argentina. The North Texas semifinal was played at the Arlington venue serving the Dallas host market.
