Ally Medical Emergency Room said Tuesday, Oct. 13, that it has held the official ribbon cutting for its freestanding emergency room in Frisco and has formed a partnership with the Texas Legends basketball team.
Medical Director Dr. Charles Close cut the ribbon on Oct. 8 alongside clinical staff and members of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, according to the company's news release. Ally Medical ER Frisco has been treating patients since it opened earlier this summer. Players from the Texas Legends, the NBA G League team based in Frisco, attended to mark the new partnership.
"Serving Frisco these past few months has been a privilege, and celebrating with the community made it even more special," Emmanuel Colliot, chief executive officer of Ally Medical ER, said in the release. "The best part of the night was simple: our neighbors got to meet our team, and our team got to meet the families they care for."
The company said the Frisco emergency room is owned and run by local board-certified physicians and is open around the clock every day of the year, with no appointment needed. It offers private exam rooms and imaging that includes CT, X-ray and ultrasound, and the company says each of its locations has a radiology suite, a pharmacy and a laboratory on site.
