Nashville Takes the Lead

Reed Baker-Whiting opened the scoring for Nashville SC in the 30th minute. The visitors carried that 1-0 advantage into halftime and added to it when Elias Saad scored in the 67th minute.

Austin FC answered in the 76th minute through Brandon Vázquez, cutting Nashville SC's lead to 2-1. The response was followed by two more Nashville goals. Shak Mohammed scored in the 88th minute, and Hany Mukhtar completed the scoring in the first minute of stoppage time, listed as 90'+1'.

Vázquez recorded five total shots for Austin FC, while Nashville SC's Sam Surridge also finished with five total shots. Austin goalkeeper Brad Stuver made seven saves. Nashville goalkeeper Brian Schwake made four saves.
