Keurig Dr Pepper, which has a headquarters in Frisco, named Russ Torres on Oct. 1 to lead the coffee company it plans to create through a business separation.
Torres is scheduled to join Nov. 3. Before the separation, he will lead the coffee operating unit and oversee integration with JDE Peet’s coffee operations, reporting to CEO Tim Cofer.
Keurig Dr Pepper is targeting early 2027 for the separation. Torres is also expected to join the future coffee company’s board when the split is completed.
