Frisco's Parks & Recreation department has posted its event lineup for the rest of 2026, running from a dogs-only day at the water park in September to a doubleheader of Santa traditions in December. Dates below come from the city's own event pages.

September

  • Sept. 12 - Paws in the Pool, Frisco Water Park. The season-closing swim where the pool goes to the dogs. If weather intervenes, the city lists Sept. 13 as the rainout date.

October

  • Oct. 3-4 - Frisco Camp Out, Frisco Commons Park. The city's annual family overnight in the park.

December

  • Dec. 5 - Frosty 5K, Simpson Plaza.
  • Dec. 5 - Breakfast with Santa, The Grove at Frisco Commons, 8300 McKinney Road.

Runners and pancake-eaters will note both land on the same Saturday, which makes for a full morning but a single drive downtown.

The city also lists Scuba with Santa at the Frisco Athletic Center in December, with the exact date still to be posted, and Merry Main Street, the downtown holiday festival, whose 2026 date has not yet been published on the city's page.

Registration and details

Times, pricing and registration for each event are on the city's Play Frisco event pages, and the city's newsletter carries announcements as remaining dates are set.
