Frisco, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.6260 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 19, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.6430 yesterday. That is up from $3.3760 a week ago but higher than $3.3920 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.5640, while the national average is $3.9980. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 23 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8330, drivers are paying about 79 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.8010 per gallon, AAA reported.
