Frisco, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.7010 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 27, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.7190 yesterday. That is up from $3.6110 a week ago but higher than $3.1950 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6890, while the national average is $4.1100. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 51 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9290, drivers are paying about 77 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.9570 per gallon, AAA reported.
