Frisco Police Department officers, collaborating with Waxahachie law enforcement, arrested 50-year-old Jason Honrud on Wednesday morning. The arrest stems from a murder warrant related to the 2002 killing of Frank Weiss, a Plano resident whose body was discovered near Lake Lewisville within Frisco boundaries.

Honrud is the third individual charged in this long-standing investigation. His wife, Lisa Honrud, was previously apprehended in April regarding the same case. Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific charges filed against Jason Honrud or the timeline of his alleged involvement.

Investigators continue to seek information from the public. Residents with relevant details are encouraged to contact the Frisco Police Department directly or submit anonymous tips via text message or the department's mobile application.
