Frisco Police responded to a robbery involving a firearm at the Frisco Athletic Center parking lot on the evening of June 29, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m., prompting an immediate response from law enforcement officials.

According to the police department, the individuals involved fled the scene in a blue and white Ford Bronco before officers arrived at the location. Patrol units later located the vehicle at a fast-food restaurant situated a few miles from the athletic center. Upon finding the car, officers interviewed the people associated with it.

During these interviews, law enforcement determined that the individual who possessed the handgun was not present in the vehicle at the time of the stop. The Bronco itself was identified as belonging to a resident living near the athletic center.

A preliminary investigation, conducted with assistance from detectives and school resource officers, revealed that the individuals involved in the incident are juveniles currently enrolled in the Frisco Independent School District. The police department stated that all parties identified in connection with the robbery will be held accountable for their actions.

The Frisco Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this case or related offenses to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling (972) 292-6010. Anonymous tips may also be sent by texting FRISCOPD and the tip details to 847411 or through the Frisco PD mobile application.
