Frisco police have arrested a third individual linked to a 2002 homicide within city limits. Jason Honrud, 50, was taken into custody on June 24 alongside Waxahachie officers on a murder warrant. This arrest follows the April detention of Lisa Honrud, 57, and the May arrest of Keith Hart, 57, both also charged in the case.

Authorities state that advanced investigative methods and a key witness helped resolve the 24-year-old cold case involving Frank Weiss. Court documents indicate Weiss had documented marital issues and was preparing to separate from Lisa Honrud. She signed an annulment on May 31, 2002, and moved out of their home with Hart's assistance the following day. Weiss was last seen alive on June 2, 2002.

The witness reportedly told investigators that Lisa Honrud admitted to providing the weapon to Hart, who allegedly discarded it in Joe Pool Lake. Carla Weiss, Frank's daughter, described the recent arrests as a bittersweet moment after years of waiting for answers. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the department or submit anonymous tips.
