Emergency personnel arrived at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco on Friday morning to address a reported fire. The incident occurred near a loading dock at the facility that serves as the Dallas Cowboys' practice headquarters.
The Frisco Fire Department led the response, receiving mutual aid from the Plano Fire Department. Early information suggested the blaze was small and had been brought under control, although officials were still working to verify the final status of the situation.
No injuries or significant damage were immediately reported. The timing of the incident did not disrupt team operations, as Cowboys players were not scheduled to hold practice sessions on Friday. The squad is not expected to return to the facility until Monday.
The team is currently focused on preparations for the upcoming season opener against the New York Giants. That game is set for Sunday, Sept. 13, and will be broadcast on NBC 5.
