IKEA is scheduled to hold its first Meatballbecue in Frisco on Saturday, Aug. 8, offering an indoor buffet built around its meatballs and a new Fish Ball menu item.

The event is open to all ages and is taking place alongside the IKEA Summer Storage Sale. The Fish Ball is described as a crunchy bite made with Alaskan haddock.

Ticket prices vary by age and family status. Adult admission is $17.99, or $14.99 at the family rate, while children’s tickets are $6.99, or $4.99 with the family price.

Tickets will be sold only inside the store on the event date. IKEA is requiring wristbands for people entering the dining area.

The buffet will be divided into three one-hour seatings. The sessions are set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
