A new guide has identified several venues with notable outdoor seating areas in communities throughout North Texas. The list covers establishments in Allen, Frisco, McKinney, and Plano that offer various amenities for patrons seeking to dine or drink outside.
In Allen, Watters Creek is highlighted as a destination for shopping and dining. Patrons can visit restaurants such as Tutto Gustoso, Fish City Grill, and Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q at the 970 Garden Park Dr. location.
Frisco offers a wide selection of venues. DiDi’s Downtown in The Rail District provides American food and live music at 7210 W. Main St. Eight | 11 Place, located at 7080 Main St., is described as a historic home turned wine bar featuring fire-pit tables.
Other Frisco options include Hat Creek Burger Co., which features an outdoor playground, and the Ice House in the PGA District at 4341 PGA Parkway. This venue operates as an indoor and outdoor beer garden known for draft beers and frozen cocktails.
Jake’s Burgers & Beers is situated near Toyota Stadium at 6195 W Main St. Frisco Rail Yard at 9040 1st St. provides a large open-air space with food trucks and twinkle lights.
The Star District, home of the Dallas Cowboys at One Cowboys Way, is also included. Venues there include The Common Table for Sunday brunch and Sidecar Social, which features a shaded patio with televisions.
McKinney selections focus on relaxed atmospheres. Local Yocal at 350 East Louisiana St. offers an off-the-street patio. Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen at 216 W. Virginia St. has a covered patio equipped with misters and fans. The Stix Icehouse at 301 Eldorado Pkwy #100 allows guests to play cornhole, ping pong, and disc golf.
TUPPS Brewery occupies four acres at 402 East Louisiana Street, offering a massive beer garden and barn-style taproom. Uncork’d at 301 N. Custer Rd., Ste. 180, serves wine and craft beers. Zin Zen Wine Bistro is located at 6841 Virginia Pkwy., Ste. 104.
