The Big 12 conference has confirmed that six Colorado Buffaloes athletes will participate in its football media days, which are set for July 7 and 8 in Frisco, Texas. The list of attendees features quarterback Julian Lewis and wide receiver Danny Scudero, alongside tight end Zach Atkins and defensive backs Ben Finneseth, Naeten Mitchell, and Cree Thomas.

Lewis, a redshirt freshman who saw action in four games during his true freshman year in 2025, is expected to compete for the starting role. Scudero arrives from San Jose State, where he led the nation in receiving yards last season with 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns. Atkins returns for his senior year after starting the final five games of the 2025 campaign.

The defensive contingent includes Finneseth, who is in his fifth and final year of eligibility, and Mitchell, who transferred from New Mexico State after recording 93 tackles in 2025. Thomas also joins via the transfer portal, having played one season at Notre Dame. Further details regarding the specific schedule or activities for these athletes remain not yet clear.
