A new location for the Colorado-based sandwich chain Snarf's is being prepared in Frisco. A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicates that a $350,000 renovation is currently in progress at 3930 Preston Road to house the restaurant.
Construction on the site started on August 1 and is scheduled to be completed by November 15. As of the latest reports, the company has not announced a specific opening date or provided further details regarding the menu or staffing for this particular branch.
Snarf's was established in 1996 by Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel in Boulder, Colorado. The business began as a single shop focused on preparing oven-toasted subs. Over the years, the brand has expanded beyond its home state into several other regions while maintaining its emphasis on hot sandwiches made with premium meats and cheeses.
The menu also includes salads, soups, sides, and options for vegetarian and gluten-free diets.
The Frisco site will be part of the chain's growth in Texas. The brand entered the Dallas market in December with its first local store at 2337 W. Mockingbird Lane, near Love Field. This new Frisco location follows that initial expansion into the North Texas area.
