The Dallas Cowboys will hold two public practices in Frisco after returning from the California portion of training camp, with sessions set for Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Ford Center at The Star.

Admission is free, and the public may attend both dates. Doors at the Ford Center are scheduled to open at 4:30 p.m. each day, while Tostitos Championship Plaza is set to open to fans at 4 p.m. Practices are scheduled for 6 p.m. on both nights.

The Aug. 25 program is planned to start at 5:30 p.m. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are scheduled to perform, and Jerry Jones, the Cowboys' owner, president and general manager, is set to speak. Griffin Gonzalez, who handles sponsorships, activations and global charitable initiatives for American Airlines, is also scheduled to give remarks. American Airlines is presenting the practices.

The team said fans at both events will be able to see Rowdy, the Cowboys mascot, and take part in interactive activities. On Aug. 25, an after-practice tailgate and drone display is planned above Tostitos Championship Plaza from 8 to 9 p.m.; the team said it will be the first event of that kind after a practice.

The Aug. 26 practice will air from 6 to 8 p.m. on TXA 21. It will also be available online through CBS Texas Stream and the team website, with CBS Sports Texas anchor Bill Jones and DallasCowboys.com reporters handling the broadcast.

The Cowboys are also scheduled to play the New Orleans Saints later that week in their third preseason game. Kickoff is listed for 7 p.m. Central at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
