Frisco police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Frisco Athletic Center on the evening of June 29. The incident involved juveniles who are enrolled in the Frisco Independent School District, according to a news release issued by the Frisco Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 8 p.m., but the suspects had already left the area in a blue and white Ford Bronco before their arrival. Investigators were able to trace the vehicle to a nearby resident. The Bronco was later located at a fast-food restaurant situated a few miles from the athletic center.

During the investigation, officers spoke with individuals connected to the vehicle. They determined that the person carrying the handgun was not present at the restaurant location. Detectives and school resource officers assisted with the preliminary investigation, which identified the individuals involved as juveniles enrolled in Frisco ISD.

Police stated that all parties identified in the incident will be held accountable for their actions. The department has not yet provided details regarding the specific charges or the current status of the suspects.

Frisco police are asking anyone with information about the case or related offenses to contact the department at (972) 292-6010. Anonymous tips may be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 or through the Frisco PD app.
