The Frisco Police Department is requesting public assistance to solve a robbery that took place at the Frisco Athletic Center on June 29. Law enforcement officials shared details regarding the incident through a social media post on Wednesday, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

According to the department, officers received a call reporting a robbery involving a firearm in the parking lot of the athletic center around 8 p.m. Investigators determined that the crime followed a pre-arranged meeting between the parties involved. The suspects departed the scene in a blue and white Ford Bronco before police arrived on the scene.

Detectives later discovered that the vehicle belonged to a resident living near the athletic center. Officers located the Bronco at a fast-food restaurant a few miles away and spoke with the individuals inside. However, they learned that the person carrying the handgun was not present in the vehicle at that time.

A preliminary investigation conducted by detectives and school resource officers revealed that the individuals involved are juveniles enrolled in the Frisco Independent School District. The police department stated in its post that all parties identified in the incident will be held accountable for their actions.

The department is asking anyone with information about the case or related offenses to contact them directly. Residents can call 972-292-6010 to provide tips. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 or by using the Frisco PD app.

Further details regarding the specific charges or the status of the individuals involved have not been provided.
