Frisco establishments are organizing special events to accommodate Swedish soccer fans visiting for the World Cup. Rollertown Beerworks on Main Street has decorated its venue and is planning watch parties for Sweden’s matches against Tunisia on June 14 and the Netherlands on June 20. The brewery will feature a Taylor Swift cover band and a country group, while staff have learned Swedish chants and completed training on welcoming international visitors. Organizers plan to distribute blue and yellow beads and use smoke bombs to create a festive atmosphere.

Helene Honeybone, honorary consul at the Dallas Swedish consulate, noted that many Swedes associate Dallas with the 1994 World Cup and the television show "Dallas." She encouraged the brewery to hire a country band rather than an ABBA tribute to give visitors an authentic Texas experience. A friendly match between Swedish and FC Dallas supporter clubs is scheduled for June 23 at The PIT in Frisco, followed by a gathering at Rollertown.

Fans traveling from Stockholm, including Christopher Grahn and Rudslätt, expressed excitement about visiting Toyota Stadium and exploring local attractions like Southfork Ranch. Grahn purchased tickets after watching Sweden qualify for the tournament in Stockholm. Details regarding specific security measures or additional official team activities remain not yet clear.
