Hunt Sports Development has unveiled plans for a new mixed-use district located east of Toyota Stadium and the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco. The project involves a partnership with Peak Curated Development and Venu Holding Corporation, with construction scheduled to begin in 2027.
The initial phase of the development will feature an approximately 290-room boutique hotel. Amenities for the hotel include a full-service restaurant and bar, a rooftop lounge, an experiential spa, and a fitness center. The site will also contain more than 40,000 square feet of convention and meeting space.
A central component of the project is a 15,000-square-foot ballroom designed to be divided for conferences or reconfigured into a flexible venue capable of hosting up to 3,000 people for music and live entertainment. The developers stated the goal is to transform the Toyota Stadium campus into a destination active throughout the week, rather than solely on game days.
The announcement also updated the financial scope of the ongoing renovation at Toyota Stadium. The cost is now estimated at $215 million, an increase from the $182 million approved by the Frisco City Council in September 2024. Work remains on schedule for completion in spring 2028.
