A significant number of well-known Dallas restaurants are preparing to open locations in Frisco, driven by the region’s population growth and new commercial developments. The expansion includes eight high-profile concepts that will bring chef-driven dining and established Dallas favorites to the suburb.
Headington Companies is bringing Commissary and Tango Room to the Hall Park complex at 3101 Gaylord Parkway. Both establishments are expected to open in the fall of 2026. Commissary, recognized for its all-day café menu and wine selection, will utilize the larger space to serve as the headquarters for its bakery and wholesale operations.
Tango Room, an upscale steakhouse and cocktail bar, will feature private dining areas and a menu curated by executive chef David Gomez.
Michael Tregoning, president of Headington Companies, stated that the company has been searching for high-impact locations to expand its portfolio. He expressed excitement about Hall Park becoming home to the second locations of both brands, noting the success of their original Dallas venues.
Muchacho Tex-Mex is also scheduled to open in Frisco in the fall of 2026 at 8600 Gaylord Parkway. Chef Omar Flores, who recently opened Maroma in the Design District, is preparing this third location of his Tex-Mex concept. The opening was delayed from spring to late summer or early fall because Gloria's Latin Cuisine occupied the space longer than anticipated.
Two other concepts, Green Point Seafood & Oyster Bar and Claremont Bar & Grill, are planned for Fields West at 14520 Legacy Drive. Owners Greg and Nik Katz intend to bring these Dallas staples to the development, with openings expected between late 2027 and early 2028. Green Point is known for East Coast-inspired seafood, while Claremont reflects the family’s Cape Town origins.
