Frisco and Area Offer Soccer Festivals and Art Exhibits This Summer

Frisco hosts a soccer fan festival at Simpson Plaza while local museums and gardens feature extended art and science exhibitions through the summer.

Frisco is transforming Simpson Plaza into a soccer hub for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration runs from June 11 through July 19, offering live match watch parties, interactive activities, live music, and food. Free tickets are required for entry to the 34-day event.

Other North Texas locations are hosting extended cultural and scientific displays. The Frisco Heritage Museum presents Legends of Soccer, a free exhibit exploring the sport's history, running until December 1. In McKinney, the America 250: Texas Trailblazing Wonder Women Exhibition debuts at Millhouse on June 15, showcasing 25 large-scale works by Texas artists honoring influential women.

Additional regional attractions include the Ancient Echoes, Modern Voices exhibition at the Crow Museum of Asian Art in Richardson through June 28, and the Soccer: More Than a Game interactive science display at the Dallas Perot Museum through September 7. The Dallas Arboretum features Hunt Slonem’s Bunnies, Birds & Butterflies installations until September 30. Details regarding specific match schedules or additional venue capacities are not yet clear.
