Frisco and Plano are hosting a variety of free community events this week, including a Swedish cultural gathering, a youth baseball competition, and a USMNT watch party.
On June 23, Magnolia Terrace in Frisco will welcome Swedish visitors with local food and entertainment to showcase Texas hospitality. The following day, Riders Field in Frisco will host a free MLB competition for young baseball and softball players aged 7 to 14, with top performers advancing to national finals.
On June 25, Oak Point Recreation Center in Plano offers free swimming lessons for water safety, while Ford Center at The Star in Frisco hosts a free outdoor watch party for the US Men's National Soccer Team match against Turkey.
Later in the week, The Boardwalk at Granite Park in Plano features a local artisan market on June 26. Allen’s Celebration Park hosts its largest summer celebration with music and fireworks on June 27, while Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park in McKinney celebrates Mexican culture with music and dance. On June 28, Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco holds a free event for the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation, and McKinney North High School hosts a patriotic concert for the McKinney Community Band's 20th anniversary.
