The City of Frisco has issued an update regarding upcoming roadway projects that may impact traffic for residents. Unless noted otherwise, officials expect an estimated two weeks for completion of these projects, weather permitting.

New Pavement Replacement

New pavement replacement work is scheduled for Lenox Lane at Siena Drive. Additionally, ongoing pavement replacement continues at 2828 Stonebrook Parkway. Drivers should also be aware of ongoing work at the intersection of Eastbound Old Orchard Drive and Tanyard Lane.

Utility Improvements

Utility improvements are currently underway on Preston Trace Road. These projects are part of a broader effort to maintain and upgrade city infrastructure.

Upcoming Closures and Switches

Specific traffic changes are imminent. Anthem Drive will be closed at King Road starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 22. Residents are advised to plan alternate routes during this time.

Recent traffic updates include a traffic switch on PGA Parkway between Preston Road and Coit Road, which occurred on Tuesday, June 16. A new traffic signal was also activated on Dallas Parkway at Fields Parkway and Universal Parkway, along with a new roadway section, as of June 2. Earlier in the month, 5th Street was closed between Main and Elm Streets starting on the evening of May 28.

Historical updates indicate a traffic switch on Lebanon Road began on Monday, April 20, following an announcement on April 17. The city continues to monitor these developments to ensure public safety and minimize disruption. Residents are encouraged to check official city channels for further details on specific project timelines and detours.
