Frisco City Offices Closed July 3 for Independence Day

City Hall and administrative offices close Friday, July 3, while recycling services continue as the holiday falls on a Saturday.

The City of Frisco has announced that administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday and the upcoming Frisco Freedom Fest event scheduled for July 3 and 4. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, July 6.

Service Updates

City Hall, the Municipal Court, and other administrative offices will remain closed on July 3. Residents are advised to check the city website for specific closing times or special hours for other services.

Recycling and trash curbside collection will not be impacted by the holiday because July 4 falls on a Saturday. Regular services will resume on Monday, July 6. The Environmental Services offices and the Environmental Collection Center will both be closed on Friday, July 3. Residents are reminded that drop-off without an attendant present is considered illegal dumping.

Cultural and Recreational Facilities

Frisco Fire Safety Town and Central Fire Administrative Offices will be closed on Friday, July 3. The Frisco Public Library will be closed on both July 3 and 4. The library reopens on Sunday, July 5 at 9 a.m. The drive-thru book return located behind the building will remain open 24/7.

Connection at Stonebriar Centre will be closed on July 3 and 4. The Frisco Athletic Center will be open on Friday, July 4, with modified hours. General facility hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Indoor aquatics operate from 7 to 8 a.m. and 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Play Depot is open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Frisco Water Park operates from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Full facility details are available on the city website.

The Frisco Discovery Center will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Tenant partners may have differing schedules. The Frisco Heritage Center and The Grove at Frisco Commons will both be closed on July 3 and 4. The Grove reopens on Monday, July 6, for regular hours.
