The City of Frisco has issued an update regarding roadway projects that may impact traffic in the area. Residents are advised to plan for potential delays as construction activities continue across several locations.

Upcoming Closures and Switches

A significant change to traffic patterns begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, when Anthem Drive will be closed at King Road. This closure is part of the city's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local infrastructure.

Previously, the city announced that Lone Star Ranch Parkway was closed between Stonebrook Parkway and Lebanon Road on June 22 from 3 to 9 p.m. Additionally, a traffic switch was implemented on PGA Parkway between Preston Road and Coit Road on Tuesday, June 16. Earlier in the month, a new traffic signal was activated on Dallas Parkway at Fields Parkway and Universal Parkway, along with a new roadway section. Prior to that, a traffic switch on Lebanon Road began on Monday, April 20.

Ongoing Maintenance

In addition to specific closures, the city is conducting ongoing pavement replacement and utility improvements. These projects include work on Lenox Lane at Siena Drive, 2828 Stonebrook Parkway, Eastbound Old Orchard Drive at Tanyard Lane, and Preston Trace Road.

Unless noted otherwise, residents should expect an estimated two weeks for the completion of these projects, weather permitting. The city encourages drivers to remain vigilant and follow posted signage as construction zones remain active. Updates regarding these projects were posted on June 24, June 22, June 15, and June 2, with the most recent update on June 26, 2026.
