The City of Frisco announced that a section of eastbound Meadow Hill Drive will be closed just east of Rogers Road for approximately three weeks. The closure begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 17, to facilitate underground utility work.

During the construction period, eastbound traffic will be rerouted. Drivers must head north on Rogers Road, then travel east on Eldorado Parkway, and finally south on Preston Road to bypass the work zone. Detour signs will be posted along the route to guide motorists. Westbound traffic on Meadow Hill Drive remains unaffected by this closure.

The city has published a map of the closures and detours in PDF format for public review. Officials urge drivers to exercise caution while navigating through the active work zone. Residents are advised to identify an alternate route before departing to avoid delays.

For real-time navigation assistance, drivers may use the Waze app to locate road closures. The city provided a link for those wishing to learn more about the application or install it on their smartphones. This infrastructure project is expected to last for the duration of the three-week window.
