Baylor football improves to 2-1 with 36-19 win over Louisiana Tech

Baylor defeated Louisiana Tech 36-19 on September 19, giving the football team two wins in its first three games of 2026.

Baylor football moved to 2-1 in 2026 after defeating Louisiana Tech 36-19 on September 19. The Bears opened the season with a 17-16 loss to Auburn on September 5 and followed it with a 44-3 victory over Prairie View A&M on September 12.

The team’s next scheduled game is against Colorado on September 26 at 11 a.m. Baylor is then scheduled to play at Arizona State on October 3, with the kickoff time listed as to be determined.

Later games include a matchup with TCU on October 17 and a road game at Kansas on October 24. Both kickoff times have not been announced. Baylor is scheduled to visit UCF on October 30 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a home game against Iowa State on November 7, with the time still to be determined.

The schedule also lists Baylor’s final three results from 2025 as losses to Houston, Arizona and Utah. Further details about the Louisiana Tech game were not provided.
