Texas A&M established early dominance on Saturday at Kyle Field, routing Missouri State 50-0 in a complete team effort. The Aggies (1-0) outscored the Bears (0-1) in every quarter, capitalizing on offensive efficiency and defensive stops to build an insurmountable lead. The final attendance at College Station was recorded at 107,782 spectators.
First Half Scoring Surge
Texas A&M broke the scoreless tie early in the first period when Marcel Reed connected with Isaiah Horton on a 15-yard touchdown pass. David Olano’s extra point made it 7-0. The Aggies extended their advantage to 9-0 later in the quarter via a team safety, highlighting their defensive pressure.
The second quarter saw Texas A&M continue its offensive rhythm. David Olano added three points with a 28-yard field goal, pushing the lead to 12-0. Reed and Horton linked up again for another touchdown, this time on a 12-yard pass to Mario Craver. With Olano’s kick, the Aggies entered halftime with a commanding 19-0 cushion.
Third Quarter Expansion
