Jamal Roberts’ two long runs lift Missouri past Texas A&M, 27-6

Roberts supplies the finishing runs

Jamal Roberts broke away for a 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, giving Missouri a 27-6 lead over Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. The run was Roberts’ second touchdown of the game and capped a 222-yard rushing performance on 34 carries for the Tigers.

Missouri, the home team, finished with 27 points, while visiting Texas A&M scored six. The game was played at Memorial Stadium before an attendance of 63,609.

Missouri builds its lead

Texas A&M opened the scoring in the first period when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal for a 3-0 Aggies lead. Missouri answered in the second period with Cayden Lee’s 32-yard touchdown reception from Austin Simmons, followed by a Blake Craig extra point for a 7-3 Tigers advantage.

Craig added a 50-yard field goal later in the second period, sending Missouri into halftime with a 10-3 lead. He made another field goal, this one from 51 yards, in the third period to extend the margin to 13-3.

Roberts then scored on a 2-yard run, with Craig’s kick moving Missouri ahead 20-3 after three periods. Olano’s 27-yard field goal brought Texas A&M within 20-6 in the fourth, but Roberts’ 54-yard touchdown run produced the final points.

The statistical picture

Simmons completed 14 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception for Missouri. Lee had seven receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown. Roberts’ two rushing touchdowns came with his 222 yards.

For Texas A&M, Marcel Reed completed 19 of 39 passes for 187 yards and had two interceptions. KJ Edwards carried six times for 20 yards, and TK Norman made three receptions for 55 yards.

Records

Missouri moved to 5-1 after the victory. Texas A&M’s record became 3-3.
