Deciding Rally
The Texas Rangers secured their eighth run of the game in the bottom of the eighth inning when Corey Osuna delivered a decisive blow. Osuna launched a 364-foot home run to right field, driving in runners Foscue and Duran to break a 3-3 tie and extend the lead to 5-3. The momentum shifted further moments later when Foscue singled to left, scoring Duran from third base to make it 6-3. The Rangers added two more runs in the frame, finishing with a final score of 8-3 against the Los Angeles Angels.
Early Exchange
The game began with the Angels taking an early 2-0 lead in the first inning. Salvador Soler doubled to left field, allowing Jake Burger to score, followed by Jonah Lowe singling to center to bring Soler home. The Rangers responded in the second inning as Zach Neto singled to left, scoring two runs to tie the game at 2-2. The Angels regained the lead in the seventh inning when Zach Neto singled to left, scoring Michael Peraza for a 3-2 advantage. However, the Rangers tied the game again when Drew Foscue homered to left field (387 feet), making the score 3-3.
