Minnesota’s Offense Explodes Early

The Minnesota Twins delivered a decisive offensive performance on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Globe Life Field, routing the Texas Rangers 9-3 to complete a three-game sweep. The game’s momentum was established in the top of the first inning, where Minnesota capitalized on early contact to build a commanding lead that the Rangers could not overcome.

Bell opened the scoring with a single to right field, driving in Larnach to make it 1-0. Clemens advanced to third base on the play. The inning turned into a three-run explosion when Lee launched a 365-foot home run to right field, scoring both Clemens and Bell. This early barrage gave Minnesota a 4-0 advantage that persisted through the middle innings.

Twins Extend Lead in Fourth

Minnesota added to its lead in the fourth inning. Larnach homered to center field, measuring 419 feet, with Keaschall scoring from second base. This two-run homer extended the Twins’ lead to 6-0. The Twins continued to apply pressure in the sixth inning. Larnach singled to left field, allowing Caratini to score and putting Keaschall in scoring position. The Twins added another run later in the frame, making the score 7-0 before the Rangers began to chip away at the deficit.

Rangers Rally in Sixth, Fall Short
