Kia America has its name on a $1.2 million office remodel inside a warehouse building in Frisco, according to a state construction filing registered Tuesday.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation registry lists the project as "Kia America - Frisco" at 6644 All Stars Way, Suite 160, in a property called Frisco Commerce Center. The filing describes the job as a second-generation remodel of office space within a warehouse shell building, covering 16,960 square feet.

Work is scheduled to start Dec. 9 and wrap up April 28, 2027. The project is privately funded, and the filing says the money is not coming from the tenant.

Who is behind it

The building owner named in the filing is ULF Frisco Commerce Center LP, which lists an office on Dallas Parkway in Dallas. P Shade Design of Dallas is the design firm, and the state accessibility review is assigned to a registered accessibility specialist based in Garland.

What the filing leaves out

The registration does not say what Kia America plans to do in the space, how many people would work there, or whether the office would support dealers, parts, training or another function. Its tenant field reads "Not Assigned," even though the project carries the company's name.

State registry entries show what owners plan to build and when. Details such as the schedule and cost can change before crews start work.
