FRISCO, Texas — Moxies, a Canadian upscale casual dining chain, is planning to open a new location at The Star in Frisco, according to public filings reported by What Now Dallas.

The restaurant will occupy 12,971 square feet at 3680 The Star Blvd., with construction scheduled to begin by the end of July 2026 and finish in early March 2027. Eatz Hospitality is listed as the tenant.

Moxies, founded in Calgary in 1986, has grown to more than 59 locations across Canada and the United States. The brand is known for its globally inspired menu, handcrafted cocktails, wine program curated by an in-house sommelier, and spacious patios.

The Frisco location will be Moxies' fifth Texas restaurant and fourth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The chain already operates in Plano, Southlake, and Houston, with Dallas serving as its first U.S. location when it opened in 2016.

The Star in Frisco is a mixed-use development that serves as the world headquarters for the Dallas Cowboys, featuring retail, dining, and office space.
