Which Nov. 3 ballot Frisco voters get depends on the county line

Frisco straddles Collin and Denton counties, so residents vote on different ballots and at different early voting sites. No city measure is on either ballot.

No Frisco city race or proposition appears on either county's ballot for Nov. 3, but residents should still check which county they live in before heading out, because Collin and Denton counties run separate elections with separate sites.

Collin County residents see the county's four bond propositions and Collin College's bond, plus contested county races such as county judge. Denton County residents instead see Denton County offices, where the county judge race pits Republican Andy Eads against Democrat Nick Pappas.

Denton County lists five early voting locations in Frisco: fire stations No. 4 (4485 Cotton Gin Road), No. 6 (3535 Eldorado Parkway), No. 7 (330 W. Stonebrook Parkway) and No. 10 (2151 Fields Parkway), and the Frisco Government Center at 5533 FM 423. Collin County posts its own site list at collincountytx.gov.

Federal and statewide contests, from the U.S. Senate and governor to Texas Supreme Court seats, appear on both counties' ballots.

Voters have until Monday, Oct. 5, to register. Both counties hold early voting during the same Oct. 19-30 window before the Nov. 3 election. Each county's website offers a sample ballot lookup.
