Paramount+ has released initial images from "Frisco King," a new crime drama created by Taylor Sheridan. The series serves as a spinoff of "Tulsa King" and features Samuel L. Jackson returning to his role as former hitman Russell Lee Washington Jr.

The show is set in Frisco, Texas, where production spent several months filming earlier this year. Locations included Dallas, Keller, Denton, Southlake, Fort Worth, and Frisco.

Jackson stars alongside Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann. Sheridan is writing every episode of the series himself.

The plot follows Jackson’s character as he navigates life in a city far removed from his New Orleans origins. This premise mirrors "Tulsa King," which centers on Sylvester Stallone’s character adjusting to Oklahoma after being released from prison in New York City.

Stallone is expected to appear in the series and serves as an executive producer. A specific release date has not been set, though reports indicate the show will arrive later this year.
