La La Land Kind Cafe is officially opening its first Frisco location, marking a new step in the Dallas-born brand's growth across North Texas. The new drive-thru cafe at 11660 Legacy Drive will hold its grand opening on Aug. 15, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The celebration includes 50% off all drinks and toast for the day. La La Land is also distributing giveaways and free items to early customers. The first 200 drive-thru patrons will receive a signature yellow cup, a branded bag, and a sticker. The first 50 customers will get additional surprises while supplies last.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8 a.m. on opening day. The brand is also giving away five $100 gift cards through Instagram. Entries are accepted by following the cafe's account, liking the promotional post, and tagging friends. The giveaway runs through Aug. 22.
The Frisco cafe has already begun welcoming customers during a soft opening period before the official Saturday celebration. The drive-thru format is part of La La Land's broader expansion strategy in North Texas. The company has experimented with drive-thru locations while continuing to operate traditional cafes across the region.
La La Land has built its brand around a mission of spreading kindness, which includes creating employment opportunities for young people who have experienced foster care. The brand opened its first cafe in 2019 and has continued expanding since then.
