Cameron Theus, 27, was taken into custody by the Frisco Police Department on September 15 following a standoff at a residence on Stevens Point Drive. The incident occurred in the Grayhawk neighborhood and resulted in Theus being charged with making a terroristic threat.
He is currently being held in the Frisco Jail on a $5,000 bond, with records indicating he also faces a hold related to a previous bond violation.
The arrest marks the third time Theus has been detained in 2026. In August, he was charged with criminal mischief after police reported he followed a woman to a nearby middle school, where he allegedly screamed and struck vehicles, damaging a side mirror. Earlier in the year, in February, he was arrested for assault.
His criminal history also includes arrests in 2022 for credit card abuse and in 2018 for resisting arrest.
Kevin Raper, a resident of the Grayhawk neighborhood for 22 years, expressed concern to FOX 4 about the frequency of recent incidents. He noted that the area is generally considered safe, making such events unexpected. Raper stated, "I think I would like to see better communication from the police department.
I know that they can’t tell us everything, but we’re sitting here, and we don’t know what’s going on."
