Two Frisco celebrations are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3.
Frisco Oktoberfest runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at The Star. The event includes German food, live music and Oktoberfest games, including stein-hoisting contests.
At Kaleidoscope Park, 6635 Warren Parkway, birthday activities begin at 10 a.m. A family activity area and vendor market run until 2 p.m., followed by a community birthday celebration. The day closes with an Emerald City Band concert from 7 to 9 p.m. on the Performance Lawn. Visitors may bring chairs or blankets for the show.
